There isn’t one. You don’t need a magic bullet for your company, you just need to find the right shift to make.

The reality is, your business isn’t a mess. It might feel like it, but if you’re still in the game at this point then you’ve actually got a solid business plan! I would wager (and have seen) that most small business owners really only need a 5% shift to create exponential growth.

For Example:

If you think of a rockslide, you really don’t need a whole stick of dynamite to create it. All you have to do is find that one rock to move that will trigger massive amounts of movement.

Here’s why I’ve been thinking about this lately…

I have a newsletter that goes out every once in a while, and I recently sent out an email which had an incredibly large response rate. While there’s usually plenty of email opens, the number of replies I received baffled me until I realized that this concept resonated so well with so many business owners because it’s true.

If you’re currently a business owner, you probably don’t need to reinvent the wheel.

There are times to reinvent the wheel…

For the longest time I was working through different iterations of my business. Initially I was a sales trainer, then a coach, and eventually an event producer. Your business might need some reinvention as well – sometimes it takes a while to find what our business is truly about.

But most business owners don’t need to.

Especially if you’ve spent longer than 5 years in business. In all likelihood, you’re doing amazing! And just need to shift slightly to create that insane increase you want.
