Let's be honest! Sometimes...it's tough to toot our own horn!

Not only can it be difficult to truly SEE ourselves and what someone thought to nominate us, but it can be hard to put it to words. The reference letters allow us to get a glimpse of who you are from the world around you!

Last year, reference letters were a huge component of who made it to the finals, and who didn't!

We've tried hard to keep these questions from being 'tricky' but just in case, make sure you read the questions a couple of times to ensure you're understanding them thoroughly so you can answer what's really being asked!

There's a reason we recommend copying the questions into a word document so you can write your answers, then tweak & edit to ensure it's saying exactly what you want it to say!

Keep in mind that the boards will be reading through multiple of these applications at a time, so while we definitely want you to take as much space as necessary to give us the information we need to gauge your impact properly (hence, no word limit), it can be hard to remember what question is being answered if the answers meander too far!

Ok! Definitely brag on yourself in the application...but also! Tell the world!!!
